RELAXATION TRAINING

Learning to relax will greatly enhance your capacity to manage the stress and strain that accompanies life. The key to relaxing is breathing, particularly breathing OUT. So, take a deep breath and EXHALE

PROGRESSIVE RELAXATION

[20 minutes]
Progressive relaxation involves tensing and relaxing muscles in a prescribed and progressive fashion. Learning how to “swing” into relaxation and recognizing the signs of tension and relaxation in your body are emphasized

PRESCRIBED BREATHING

[10 minutes]
Prescribed breathing using a 3-6 cadence. Inhalation for a count of 3, a pause, then exhalation for a count of 6. This audio is simply a repeating of the 3-6 cadence.
